The GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) nightlife scene in Orlando is one that always has things going on every night during the week! People travel from all parts of Florida just to experience some of the events that the local gay bars and clubs put on during the weekends and week day nights. The main gay clubs/bars in the area are: Parliament House, Savoy, Monkey Bar, Pulse, Revolution, Stonewall and a recently new club Brink. There are other smaller establishments as well but these are the main places to be. Starting on Sunday nights at Ember in downtown Orlando, they host a Takeover night for Gays/Lesbians, followed by Monkey Bar Happy hour, followed by an event at Savoy, then Parliament House! Monday nights is a good night to visit Parliament House for their $100 cash hot body contest and talent show! Tuesday nights is Pulse's drag talent show with great $10 all you can drink specials! Wednesday night is College Night at Pulse! Any one is is any one is there! Thursday night is College night at Revolution!! Drink specials and entertainers! Friday Night is Brink! Free cover early! Saturday night is good for Pulse and Parliament House! There is always the latest and hottest music playing at all these clubs with fabulous bar staff that actually works at several of the clubs so you can see the same bartender at more than just one place! The people you meet are wide age varieties, most of the clubs are 18+ except for Stonewall and Savoy which are 21+. There is designated smoking areas at all venues. Each bar offers female impersonators on a regular show schedule except for Savoy which has male dancers every night! Most clubs offer FREE drinks if you get there from 9p-10p on the busy nights! I personally love the GLBT night life scene here in Orlando. I recently moved here to go to Full Sail to peruse my career in Entertainment Business and own my own large chain of night life establishments and also to learn about artist management. I moved here back in November of 2011 from Dayton, OH. In Dayton, I worked at Masque Nightclub for quite some time being hand in hand with the management staff learning the ropes of what it took to own and operate a multi million dollar night life establishment!
